Police have charged four people following an investigation into firearms stolen during a burglary at Drayton earlier this month.
It will be alleged six firearms were stolen from an Anzac Avenue address on April 8.
Following ongoing investigations, officers executed a search warrant at a Westbrook address, around 4pm on April 17.
During a search of a vehicle at the location, police allegedly located four firearms, including three believed to have been stolen during the Drayton burglary.
Police also allegedly seized ammunition, firearm components and other items.
Additional searches of the property allegedly located a quantity of dangerous drugs.
A 46-year-old Balgal Beach man and a 45-year-old North Toowoomba woman have each been charged with four counts of unlawful possession of a category A, B or M weapon, one count of unlawful possession of a category R weapon, two counts of receiving tainted property and one count of possessing explosives.
The man has also been charged with one count of possessing tainted property, and both have been charged with minor drug offences.
A 41-year-old Westbrook woman has been charged with one count of possessing dangerous drugs, three counts of possessing utensils and two counts of contravening an order about information necessary to access information stored electronically.
All three are due to reappear before Toowoomba Magistrates Court on 18 May.
Following further investigative strategies officers executed a second search warrant at a West Street address in South Toowoomba on 19 April where it is alleged, they located a fifth firearm, along with ammunition and drug paraphernalia.
A 28-year-old man has been charged with one count each of unlawful possession of a category A firearm, receiving tainted property, possess explosive and possess drug utensil.
He is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court today, 20 April.
The sixth firearm was recovered following the execution of a search warrant at a Toowoomba City motel on 13 April.
