Police are investigating a fatal two vehicle crash in Purga today, 13 April.
Initial reports indicate around 12.30pm a Suzuki hatchback and Mazda hatchback travelling in opposite directions have collided on Ipswich-Boonah Road near the intersection of Carmichaels Road.
Both drivers, a female in her 20’s and a male in his 20’s, died at the scene.
They were the sole occupants of their vehicles.
The Forensic Crash Unit is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
