Police have arrested three youths on the Sunshine Coast after an incident involving a stolen car from Bundaberg.

It will be alleged a blue Audi Q5-55 station wagon was stolen from a garage attached to property on Captivation Court in Avoca sometime between 8.30pm on Wednesday 8 April and 7.30am on Thursday 9 April.

Gladstone police later located the Audi on Byellee Road in Clinton around 7.45pm yesterday, 9 April, and attempted to intercept it, when it is alleged the vehicle sped off.

Around 2am today, 10 April, Sunshine Coast police successfully deployed a tyre deflation device on the Bruce Highway at Tanawha, but the vehicle continued on.

It will be alleged the Audi came to a stop north of the Sunshine Motorway exit and the driver fled the scene on foot, before being apprehended by police.

Two other youths were also arrested at the scene.

A 17-year-old Beecher boy has been charged with two counts of evading police and one count each of publishing unlawful use of a motor vehicle on social media, publishing dangerous operation of a vehicle on social media, obstruct police, driving a motor vehicle without a licence, unlawful possession of weapons, possessing utensils and offence to buy or possess S4 or S8 medicines or hazardous poisons.

A 15-year-old Moore Park Beach boy was also charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

They are both due to face Maroochydore Childrens Court today, 10 April.

A 14-year-old girl has been dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
