The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating following a single quad bike traffic crash at East Palmerston yesterday afternoon, 4 April.
Initial investigations indicate about 5pm, a green Kawasaki quad bike was travelling along Pullom Road when it has lost control and struck a pole.
The rider, a 31-year-old Palmerston man was declared deceased at the scene.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have relevant information, dashcam vision or saw the quad bike leading up to the crash to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
