A crime scene has been declared at a Slacks Creek business after it was set alight this morning, 29 March.
Shortly after 2am, an unknown offender has smashed the glass entry door of the Duke Street tobacco store before setting the premises alight.
The offender fled the scene in a dark-coloured vehicle.
The store sustained moderate damage as a result of the blaze.
There is no other information available at this time.Anyone who may have relevant footage from the area at the time of the incident is urged to contact police.
