Logan Criminal Investigation Branch detectives have charged one man and are continuing to search for a second following a series of robberies, dangerous driving incidents and stolen vehicle offences across Logan and north Brisbane yesterday, 26 March.

It will be alleged the incident began around 10.30am at Woodridge, when police observed a white Holden Commodore travelling on Kingston Road without number plates and committing traffic offences.

With assistance from POLAIR and specialist units, officers monitored the vehicle as it travelled to an address in Jimboomba. A man exited the Commodore and entered a white Mitsubishi Pajero, which had been reported stolen from Swallow Street at Inala in October 2025.

The Pajero was then tracked travelling north, where it will be alleged it was driven dangerously.

Around 11.30am, the vehicle attended a café on Waterford Tamborine Road at Logan Village, where it will be alleged two men approached a woman in a red Mazda 3, forcibly removing her from her vehicle and stealing her car. The 72-year-old woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The stolen red Mazda 3 allegedly collided with several vehicles, including a white Hyundai Tucson a white KIA Optima and a black Mazda BT-50 while leaving the scene.

The stolen Mazda 3 was tracked by POLAIR to Nudgee Road at Nudgee, where it was involved in a traffic crash with a grey VW Golf. Both men then fled on foot.

The male passenger was located nearby and taken into police custody.

A 29-year-old Holmview man has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle in company, dangerous operation of a vehicle and driving of motor vehicle without a driver licence.

He is due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today, 27 March.

The second man remains outstanding, and investigations are ongoing.

Police are appealing to anyone with information, or relevant vision, to come forward.
