Detectives from the Tablelands Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) and Homicide Investigation Unit are investigating the death of a 70-year-old Dimbulah man after human remains were located at a property in Dimbulah.
On the evening on 24 March, police were called to a Stock Road property to conduct a welfare check.
Around 8pm, officers located human remains in the yard area and a crime scene was declared.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity of Stock Road on 24 March, or who has relevant information to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
