A 20-year-old man has been charged following an armed robbery at Rockhampton on 23 March.
Around 4.15pm, it will be alleged a man and woman entered a Denham Street store before the man pulled out a screwdriver and demanded cash from an employee.
It will be further alleged the man stole a quantity of cash from the cash register and other items in the store before the pair fled the scene.
Police located and arrested the man and woman a short distance from the store.
A 20-year-old Rockhampton man has been charged with one count each of armed robbery in company, enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, and obstruct police officer.
He has been remanded in custody and due to reappear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court today, 25 March.
A 37-year-old Norman Gardens woman was released without charge.
Investigations are ongoing.
