A 23-year-old Loganlea man has died following a single vehicle traffic crash in Eagleby today, 14 March.

Just after 1am, a black Toyota utility has crashed under the Pacific Motorway after failing to negotiate the roundabout on Brigade Drive.

The driver, a 24-year-old Eagleby man, was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition. The passenger, a 23-year-old Loganlea man, was also transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he has since died.

Police continue to appeal to any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam vision to come forward.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations remain ongoing.
