Police have charged a man and woman following an unauthorised protest in Brisbane City today, 11 March.
Shortly after 12.30pm, officers arrested a 33-year-old man at Speakers Corner.
Officers later arrested an 18-year-old woman at King George Square and is assisting police with their inquiries.
The man has been issued with a Notice to Appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 8 for the offence of recital, distribution, publication or display of prohibited expressions.
Investigations remain on going.
