Police have charged a man following investigations into the death of a 39-year-old man in Waterford West last night, 9 March.

Around 6.35pm, police were called to a car park on Chambers Flat Road following reports a man had been located deceased.

A crime scene was established and initial investigations led detectives to declare a second crime scene at a residence at Sunline Court in Logan Reserve as inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death commenced.

Following investigations, a 33-year-old Beenleigh man has been charged with one count of murder.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow, 11 March.

Investigations remain ongoing.
