The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating following a fatal single vehicle traffic crash at Chahpingah yesterday, 7 March.

Initial investigations indicate around 4.30pm, a white Toyota Hilux was travelling along Chinchilla Wondai Road when the vehicle lost control and crashed into a tree.

The driver and sole occupant, a 40-year-old Upper Caboolture man was declared deceased at the scene.

Police are appealing to anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dashcam vision to come forward.
