Police have arrested five men as part an operation targeting the trafficking of dangerous drugs in Southeast Queensland.
Operation Xray Sykwalk was launched by the Crime Command Drug and Serious Crime Group in August 2025 following intelligence indicating the trafficking of illicit drugs including heroin, cocaine and methylamphetamine between Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia.
Investigations resulted in the execution of four search warrants on Wednesday at units in Springwood, Reedy Creek, Clayfield and Mermaid Waters.
During the searches, detectives located approximately 66 kilograms of methylamphetamine, 41 kilograms of cocaine, 12 kilograms of MDMA, 35 kilograms of ketamine and 1.5 kilograms of heroin.
Police also seized seven mobile phones and quantities of cash, prescription medication and steroids.
The targeted action against the organised crime syndicate, with alleged links to Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs (OMCG), coincides with the coordinated OMCG National Day of Action undertaken as part of Taskforce Morpheus.
Detective Acting Superintendent Brad Phelps from the Drug and Serious Crime Group said the operation has disrupted a significant drug network operation in Queensland.
“This is a significant quantity of high harm drugs allegedly for distribution by an organised crime syndicate, with the sole aim of profiting at the expense of the community,” Detective Acting Superintendent Phelps said.
“Police remain committed to targeting organised crime and criminal activity that causes widespread harm to our community”.
