Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an 80-year-old man missing from Bracken Ridge since this afternoon, 28 February.
Joseph Van Der Maat (pictured) was last seen on Annie Street around 3pm and has not been seen or heard from since.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 182cm tall, has a closely shaved head with grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey shirt, black shorts, and black Crocs.
Police have concerns for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition which may cause confusion.
Residents in the Bracken Ridge area are urged to check their yards, sheds and properties for signs of Joseph.
Anyone with information in relation to the man’s whereabouts is urged to contact police.
