The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single vehicle traffic crash in Wooroolin (South Burnett) earlier this morning, 13 February.
Initial investigations indicate that around 4am, a red 2015 Mazda 3 was travelling north along the Bunya Highway when it left the road and collided with a tree near the intersection with East Wooroolin Road.
The driver of the vehicle and sole occupant, a 45-year-old Kingaroy man, was declared deceased at the scene.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with relevant vision of the vehicle in the area prior to the crash, to contact them.
Investigations are ongoing.
