The Moreton Tactical Crime Squad has seized a significant quantity of drugs following two separate vehicle searches on 7 February.
Officers conducting patrols in the Clontarf area intercepted a blue Toyota Corolla on King Street at 12.45am after allegedly observing some suspicious activity.
Further enquiries led police to detain the male driver and conduct a search of the vehicle, where they allegedly located a significant quantity of drugs including just over three kilograms of methylamphetamine, 265 grams of cocaine and 206 suboxone strips.
Around $194,000 in cash and personal items were also seized.
A 50-year-old Clontarf man was charged with nine offences including three counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two counts of trafficking dangerous drugs and one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possessing property obtained from trafficking, possessing things used in the commission of a crime and possessing property suspected of being used in commission of a drug offence.
He was scheduled to face Redcliffe Magistrates Court on 9 February.
In a separate incident, investigations led officers conducting patrols in Deception Bay around 4pm to conduct a search of a silver Holden Captiva on Kooyalee Street.
They allegedly located 12.5 kilograms of cannabis, one kilogram of methylamphetamine and 500 grams of cocaine.
A 50-year-old Bald Hills man was charged three counts of possessing dangerous drugs and was scheduled to face Caboolture Magistrates Court on 9 February.
