Detectives from the Moreton District Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing for public assistance after a man was located with life threatening injuries in Kallangur yesterday, 26 January.

Police were called to Roy Williams Park on Shield Street around 3.30pm on Monday, following reports a 42-year-old man had been located with significant head injuries.

He was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life threatening injuries, where he remains in a critical condition.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses, including anyone with dashcam or CCTV vision of Roy Williams Park, including surrounding streets, between 9.30am and 3.30pm Monday, to come forward.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing.
