Police are investigating following the discovery of a body inside a property at Gordonvale today, 18 January.
Around 11.17am, police attended an address on Pritchard Close in relation to reports of an armed man causing a disturbance.
The man initially refused to cooperate with police but was taken into custody a short time later.
Further investigations at the property located the body of a person inside.
A crime scene has been declared as investigations continue into the incident and identity of the person.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
