A 36-year-old Buccan man has been arrested in Kempsey by New South Wales (NSW) Police following investigations into the death of a 46-year-old woman in Buccan this morning, 12 January.

The man is expected to face court in NSW tomorrow and detectives from Logan District Criminal Investigation Branch and Homicide Investigation Unit will be travelling to New South Wales to speak to the man in relation to the matter.

Police will await results of a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of the woman’s death.

Investigations remain ongoing.
