Boondall police have charged a man following an intercept on Zillmere Road at Boondall on 30 December.
It will be alleged around 5.10pm, a speed camera has detected the man driving a black Alfa Romeo exceeding the speed limit 11 times within a 17-minute period.
Six of the recorded speeds in the 60km/h zone were allegedly in excess of 100km/h with the highest recorded speed being 110km/h.
The man allegedly tested positive to a roadside breath test (RBT) and was detained and transported to Boondall Station for a secondary test where he recorded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.092 per cent.
The 57-year-old Boondall man was subsequently charged with one count of did drive over general alcohol limit but not over the middle alcohol limit and one count of dangerous operation of a vehicle whilst adversely affected by an intoxicating substance speeding or unlawful race or unlawful speed trial.
He is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on 22 January 2026.
