A 51-year-old Manoora man has died following a unit fire in Cairns on 29 December.
Emergency services were called to Mahogany Street around 10.40am to reports of a significant unit fire.
The 51-year-old man sustained critical burns and was transported to Cairns Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Preliminary investigations by police suggest the fire is non-suspicious.
Investigations are continuing.
