The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in North Isis today, December 20.
Emergency services were called to Childers Road at the intersection with Knockroe Road around 12.20pm, following reports a white Holden Commodore and a white Nissan X-trail have collided.
The sole passenger in the Nissan, an 87-year-old Apple Tree Creek woman, sustained critical injuries and was transported to hospital however died as a result of her injuries.
The driver of the Nissan, an 82-year-old Apple Tree Creek man, was transported to Bundaberg Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver and sole occupant of the Holden, a 17-year-old Didcot boy, was transported to Bundaberg hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam vision of the area around the time of the incident, is urged to contact police.
Investigations remain ongoing.
