Police are investigating a reported shooting incident in Slacks Creek this morning, 5 December.
Around 1.14am, police and emergency services attended Rowanda Street and located a man with what appear to a gunshot wound.
A crime scene was declared.
The 41-year-old Slacks Creek man was transported to hospital in a life-threatening condition where he was declared deceased.
Initial investigations indicate this was a targeted incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Investigations are ongoing.
