Police are appealing for further information as part of an ongoing investigation following the arrest of a 73-year-old Arana Hills man, who has been charged with alleged sexual offences involving multiple victims.

Detectives from Inner West Child Protection and Investigation Unit (CPIU) attended an address in Arana Hills where a man was taken into custody on 23 November 2025.

Police allege that the man utilised his position as a hockey coach to offend against a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl.

The man has been charged with two counts of grooming a child under 16-years and three counts of indecent treatment of child under 16-years.

He is expected to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on 9 December.

Police are urging anyone with further information or interactions of similar nature to come forward.

Officer in Charge Inner West CPIU, Detective Senior Sergeant Christopher Jordan stated, “There may be someone out there with more information that could assist this investigation, and we encourage you to come forward”.
