Police are continuing to increase patrols in the Bundaberg CBD and surrounding areas as part of Operation Xray Koa.

Following recent community concerns about anti-social behaviour and property crime, officers from across the Wide Bay Burnett District are working together to maintain a visible presence, prevent offending, and support community confidence.

Last week, police arrested nine people on a total of 22 charges, including eight counts of stealing, nine drug-related offences, two counts of wilful damage, one count of assault occasioning bodily harm, one count of obstructing police, and one count of breach of bail.

Police continue to conduct foot patrols and wanding operations within the CBD and surrounding areas, and Operation Xray Koa remains ongoing.

Police are working closely with the Bundaberg community and are encouraging residents to continue reporting any anti-social behaviour in the CBD and surrounding areas.
