Police have charged a 33-year-old man following investigations into a fatal traffic crash in Cannon Valley earlier this year.
Around 10.24am on 28 July, police will allege a white Isuzu light truck was headed south on Shute Harbour Road when it was involved in a crash with a red Isuzu D-Max utility and a white Mercedes Benz motorhome.
The driver and sole occupant of the utility, a 63-year-old Shute Harbour man, died at the scene.
Four people travelling in the motorhome received minor injuries and were transported to Proserpine Hospital.
A 33-year-old Mornington man has been charged with one count each of drive without due care and attention causing death, and drive with relevant drug in blood whilst not the holder of a licence .
He is due to appear in Proserpine Magistrates Court on 24 November.
Investigators are continuing to appeal for witnesses, especially those with relevant dashcam vision in the area between 10am and 10.30am, to come forward.
