Forensic Crash Unit investigations are underway following a fatal traffic incident at Osbourne, Burdekin this morning, 20 October.

Around 6am, police were called to Iona Road to reports a trail bike rider was located unresponsive.

The rider, a 25 year old Ayr man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing, anyone with information or vision is urged to contact police.
