A man has died as a result of injuries sustained in a crash in Dutton Park yesterday, 7 October.

Around 3.25pm, a 60-year-old Geebung man was located unresponsive on the footpath off Boggo Road.

Initial information suggests he was riding a bicycle when he crashed heavily and sustained a serious head injury.

He was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

He was declared deceased this morning, 8 October.

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
