Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 15-year-old boy missing from Urangan since 2 October.
The boy (pictured) was last seen leaving a hotel on Elizabeth Street and has not been seen or heard from since.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Family and police are concerned for his welfare as he has a medical condition.
A search is underway in the Hervey Bay area with police conducting vehicle and foot patrols of the area.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts or CCTV vision of the missing boy is urged to contact police.
