Police have charged three teenagers following a series of break and enters in Tieri over the weekend.
Around 4.20am and 6am on 6 September, three teenagers allegedly stole a white Toyota Prado from outside a Taurus Street residence in Tieri.
It will be further alleged that shortly afterwards, the stolen Toyota Prado along with another stolen vehicle, a blue Mazda CX8, both attended a Malvern Avenue hotel and stole a quantity of liquor before driving away.
The same stolen vehicles then attended the Tieri town centre where it is alleged the offenders broke into a Centre Place post office and Talagai Avenue grocery store, stealing a quantity of food and electrical items.
The stolen Toyota Prado was later involved in a dangerous driving incident and evaded police in Biloela and Gayndah on the same date.
Around 10am on 7 September, police located the group along the Burnett Highway at Ban Ban Springs and all three were taken into custody.
A 19-year-old Woorabinda man has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and receiving tainted property.
He is due to appear before Woorabinda Magistrates Court on 13 October.
A 16-year-old Koongal boy was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, three counts of enter premises and commit indicatable offences and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
A 15-year-old Woorabinda boy was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, three counts enter premises and commit indicatable offences, and obstruct police.
Both have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Kingaroy Childrens Court today, 8 September.
