Detectives from Yeppoon Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) and the Homicide Investigation Group have charged a man following investigations into the death of a man in Lammermoor, 22 August.
Police and emergency services were called to a Maida Street address shortly after 7am on Friday, where a 27-year-old man was located with life-threatening injuries.
Emergency services rendered first aid to the man, however he was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later and a crime scene was declared.
Following investigations, a 36-year-old Berserker man was charged today with murder.
He will appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow, 26 August.
