A man has died following a single-vehicle traffic crash in Mount Martin this morning, 13 August.

Around 6.30am, police and emergency services were called to a crash on the Mount Martin Gap Road after a vehicle left the roadway and rolled a number of times.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, an 18-year-old man, sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
