Detectives from the Ipswich Child Protection and Investigation Unit (CPIU) have charged a 28-year-old man with multiple offences, including possessing and making child exploitation material (CEM).
Following a thorough investigation by CPIU detectives, it will be alleged that the man sent unsolicited sexualised messages to a number of victims on various social media platforms and accounts in July and August, 2025.
Investigators executed a search warrant at a North Booval address on 8 August, where they seized several digital devices allegedly containing CEM.
The 28-year-old North Booval man has been charged with multiple offences including, three counts each of stalking, two counts each of making child exploitation material, and one count of possessing child exploitation material.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on 14 August.
Investigators believe there may be more members of the community that may have been contacted via social media with the intent of obtaining photographs of children.
Detectives are appealing to those members of the community and anyone aware of suspect child exploitation or similar offences, to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
