Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 65-year-old man reported missing from Springfield yesterday, 2 August.

David Anthony Hayes was last seen leaving a shopping centre on Main Street, Springfield around 1.45pm on foot and has not been seen or heard from since.

Police hold concerns for David due to medical reasons.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall with grey hair and a grey beard. He was last seen wearing a blue flannelette jumper and dark pants and a hat as depicted below.

David is known to frequent the Springfield and Bellbird Park area.

Investigators are appealing to David, or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact police.
