The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a fatal multi-vehicle traffic crash in Chandler yesterday afternoon, 28 July.
Initial information indicates, about 3.20pm, six vehicles were travelling along Old Cleveland Road before becoming involved in a traffic crash.
One vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival.
A passenger in an Isuzu tip truck, a 20-year-old Meadowbrook man, was declared deceased at the scene.
No one else was injured as a result of the incident.
Police are urging anyone with relevant information or CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
