Police are investigating a serious traffic crash in Waterford West this afternoon, 16 July.

About 2.05pm, police and emergency services were called to the corner of Kingston Road and Allora Street to reports an 84-year-old Waterford West woman had been struck by a Toyota Hiace.

The Toyota driver, a 59-year-old Crestmead man was not physically injured and is assisting police.

The pedestrian, the 84-year-old woman was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.

Investigations are ongoing.

Police are appealing to anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision to contact Policelink.
