Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a wanted man.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Joshua Kenneth Ahern May, for alleged criminal offences.

He is described as proportionate build, Caucasian complexion, approximately 160cm tall, with short brown hair and blue eyes.

Police believe he may be within the Moreton area and surrounds.

Police are urging Joshua to come forward or anyone who knows his whereabouts to contact Triple 0 immediately.
