Police are investigating two break and enters across the North Brisbane District in the early hours of this morning, June 28.

At approximately 5.30am two males gained entry into a Kingfisher Place address in Chapel Hill before being confronted by the house owner, a 53-year-old man.

One of the males, armed with a knife and wearing a white hoodie and black balaclava, demanded for keys to a Porsche parked outside the house at the time, before the pair fled the scene in a white sedan.

The owner was not physically injured, and nothing was stolen from the property.

Just before 6am, a Thiesfield Street address in Fig Tree Pocket was broken into by two males, where a white Kia Cerato was stolen.

The stolen Kia and the males remain outstanding.

Police are investigating whether the incidents are linked.

Anyone with information or revenant CCTV or dashcam vision, is urged to come forward.

Investigations remain ongoing.
