Police are appealing for information following a serious vehicle and pedestrian crash at Annerley overnight, June 27.
Initial information indicates that around 11:14pm, a 29-year-old man was struck by a vehicle travelling inbound along Ipswich Road near Clive Street.
The vehicle then continued without stopping to render assistance.
Emergency services were called a few minutes later, with the man being transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
Investigations into identifying and locating the vehicle are ongoing, with initial enquiries indicating it to be a silver “older style” Nissan sedan.
The Forensic Crash Unit are appealing to the driver of the vehicle, or anyone who may have relevant information or CCTV/dashcam footage that could assist, to come forward.
