Police have charged a man with drink driving after he allegedly returned a result three times the legal limit at Urraween on Saturday, June 14.
Officers were called to a location on Maryborough Hervey Bay Road around 10.30am following reports the man appeared heavily intoxicated in a black Suzuki Swift.
Upon arrival, officers located the man inside the Suzuki where he was breath tested. He allegedly returned a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) result of .189 per cent.
The 51-year-old Toogoom man has since been charged with one count each of in charge UIL and driving of motor vehicle without a driver licence.
He was issued a notice to appear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on June 16.
