The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Brassall last night, June 13.

At approximately 8.40pm, a white Mazda 3 travelling on Fernvale Road collided head on with a white Kia Seltos.

The driver and sole occupant of the Mazda, an 18-year-old Brassall man, died at the scene.

A 24-year-old Karalee woman, the driver of the Kia, was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations remain ongoing to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash.

Police are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with relevant vision of the events leading up to the crash to come forward.
