Police have charged two men following an alleged break and enter at a business in Southport on June 6.
Around 3:54am, police were called by security after two men were seen allegedly breaking into a supermarket to steal copper and batteries.
Upon arrival, police sighted the pair leaving the scene on foot.
One of the alleged offenders was located nearby and taken into police custody.
A police dog unit was deployed and located the second alleged offender in long grass at the edge of a nearby carpark.
