Police have taken a man into custody following reports of a wounding in Inala.
At approximately 6.15am police received reports of a man being stabbed by another man inside a property on Bellbird Street.
The victim was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A man was taken into custody at approximately 6.30am on a nearby street.
Officers will allege the men were known to each other.
Police have declared a crime scene and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
There is no ongoing threat to public safety.
