Police have charged three teenage boys following a number of burglary and vehicle thefts in St George last month.
At approximately 2am on May 24, it is alleged a hotel room on St Georges Terrace was broken into and a set of keys stolen. A stolen 2023 Toyota Hilux was seen at the scene.
Around 10.50pm on May 25 entry was gained to a Scott Street property through a back door with a set of car keys taken from inside the home and a grey 2016 Volkswagen Golf was stolen.
On the same night a fuel drum that was secured on the back tray of a vehicle was stolen. The vehicle had been parked in the driveway of a Grey Street property.
On May 26 it is alleged a Scott Street property was broken into through a window with keys taken to a 2017 Toyota Prado which was stolen.
This vehicle was discovered the following morning May 27 on Arthur Street.
Around 3.30am on May 26 it is alleged a fuel can was stolen from the back of a vehicle parked at a hotel on St Georges Terrace.
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with 12 offences including unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises to commit and burglary.
He has been remanded in custody to appear in the Ipswich Childrens Court.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with 7 offences including unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises to commit and stealing.
He is due to appear in the St George Childrens Court.
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with 10 offences including unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises to commit and stealing.
He is due to appear in the St George Childrens Court.
