A man has died following a single vehicle traffic crash in Roseneath, in the early hours of this morning.
Initial information suggest that around 1.00am an electric scooter crashed on the Flinders Highway.
The 18-year-old rider, from Mount Louisa, suffered significant injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to Townsville University Hospital in a critical condition, however, he has since died.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
