Police are appealing for information following the break-in of a Boronia Heights home and armed robbery of its occupants overnight, May 18.
Investigations indicate that around 10:35pm, two people carrying what is believed to be firearms gained access to a Hobson Place address.
Once inside, the pair assaulted a 21-year-old man and 19-year-old woman.
The offenders then stole property, before fleeing in a black van with a third person.
Both the man and woman sustained minor head and facial injuries.
Officers from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have relevant information or CCTV or dash-camera footage to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
