Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a fatal traffic crash at Gatton yesterday.

At approximately 11.40am a white Toyota Hilux utility was travelling west on Eastern Drive, when it was struck by a black BMW motorbike from behind.

The motorcycle rider, a Brisbane man in his sixties, died at the scene.

The 17-year-old driver of the ute was not physically injured.

Anyone with information or relevant footage is urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
