The Forensic Crash Unit is appealing for assistance as investigations continue into a fatal three-vehicle traffic crash in Bald Hills last night, April 13.
Initial investigations indicate that around 9:40pm, a Hyundai Imax and a Honda Odyssey were stationary on the shoulder of the right lane on Gympie Arterial Road when a Toyota Hiace van collided with the two vehicles from behind.
The woman, an occupant of the Honda Odyssey, died at the scene.
Ten people were transported to the hospital for treatment for various injuries.
Investigators are appealing to witnesses, specifically anyone who observed the vehicles parked on the right-side shoulder prior to the crash, or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
