Police are appealing for information following a traffic crash in Cairns yesterday afternoon, March 14.
Investigations indicate, about 4.35pm a blue MG MG3 has struck a e-scooter that was travelling south along McLeod Street as the e-scooter attempted to turn right on Spence Street.
A 60-year-old Edmonton man, the rider of the e-scooter, was transported to Cairns Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the MG MG3, a 37-year-old Bungalow woman, was not physically injured and is assisting police with their enquires.
Anyone with relevant information or vision is urged to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
