The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious traffic crash in Morayfield today, March 11, involving a car towing a trailer and a pedestrian.
Police were called to Clark Road, just before Summerstone Boulevard, around 6.10am after a pedestrian had reportedly been hit by a car.
Initial investigations indicate a pedestrian, a 68-year-old Petrie man, was standing on the side of the road beside his parked car when a Nissan Navara towing a trailer, travelling east, hit the man.
The pedestrian was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Nissan, a 19-year-old Morayfield man, remained at the scene.
Investigations are ongoing.
